Look at your menu for the current day and add a snack that is similar to the ones listed. If the snacks that day are fruit, then add a fruit snack from the approved fruit list. If they are protein, add a protein similar to the ones listed on the approved protein list. You can also add green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli, kale, romaine or cabbage to any meal or snack. No carrots on Wednesday or Thursday, otherwise carrots, cucumbers and celery also are great add on snacks.
